Bishop Blasts Pastor Over Anal Sex Outburst
“Church of Sweden pastor and gay marriage opponent Dag Sandahl has drawn the ire of senior clergy after launching a foul-mouthed attack on gay sex at an October church summit.
The bishop of Växjö, Sven Thidevall, has called the controversial pastor to a second meeting after the two failed to iron out their grievances at an hour-long meeting in the southern town.
The rift between the two men stems from a church summit in October at which Sandahl challenged a female delegate over her expression of support for same-sex marriages.
“Right, so you think that when you fuck somebody you should do it in the ass?” said Sandahl.
Eyebrows were raised at the pastor’s outburst, with the bishop immediately slamming his choice of words as undignified and offensive.
Sandahl countered that the meeting was of a private nature and that he was accustomed to using language in this way.”
